We’re seeking a passionate E-Commerce Manager to grow our Shopify store and marketplace presence, ensuring that our message and products reach more people every day.
Role Overview:
The E-Commerce Manager will oversee the Shopify marketplace and drive revenue by optimizing product listings, increasing visibility through SEO and paid media campaigns, managing influencer marketing, and fostering exceptional customer relationships. This role combines strategic thinking, creative marketing, and analytical skills to enhance our brand’s impact and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Growth & Optimization:
- Optimize Shopify listings for maximum visibility and conversions using SEO and keyword strategies.
- Create and manage paid ad campaigns across Google, social media platforms, and other advertising channels.
- Analyse sales metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve revenue streams.
- Marketplace Management:
- Research, identify, and expand the brand’s presence on relevant marketplaces.
- Ensure accurate inventory and product availability on all platforms.
- Monitor competitor strategies and adjust pricing or campaigns to stay competitive.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain excellent customer relations by responding promptly to queries, complaints, and reviews.
- Address negative feedback while leveraging positive reviews to build trust.
- Ensure seamless customer experience, from browsing to post-purchase support.
- Marketing & Branding:
- Develop and execute influencer collaborations to promote products.
- Plan and implement email marketing campaigns to engage customers.
- Create engaging and visually appealing product descriptions, banners, and guides for promotion.
- Performance Analysis:
- Track and analyse data from Shopify and marketplace platforms to identify trends.
- Regularly report on sales performance, customer acquisition, and ad campaign success.
- Use insights to refine strategies and forecast inventory requirements.
Requirements
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of e-commerce management experience, particularly on Shopify.
- Proven track record in driving sales through SEO and paid ad campaigns.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other PPC tools.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify backend tools and analytics.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing strategies and email marketing tools.
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong relationship management skills to collaborate with customers and influencers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with inventory management tools.
- Knowledge of data feeds, Google Analytics, and digital marketing trends.
- Background in handling customer feedback on platforms and marketplaces like Amazon, Myntra, or Nykaa.
