REPORTS TO: Creative Manager

LOCATION: US or Canada, Remote, or Portland, OR Hybrid

SCHEDULE: Full-time

PAY GRADE: Hourly

COMPENSATION RANGE: USD: $28.85-$33.65/hour – CAD $28.37-$33.13

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Email Campaign and Design Specialist, Powersports, is responsible for designing and driving the email planning and execution process. This role will support the marketing strategy as a whole by leading the delivery of compelling, personalized messages to customers in the interest of improving customer retention and increasing customer lifetime value. You will work on a variety of branded projects, both digital and some offline, across our brands. As an email designer you will play a key role in the ideation and creation of our email program. Powersports experience, specifically in the motorcycle category, is required. Retail e-commerce experience is a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works with Retention Marketing Manager to develop and execute email campaigns which support the promotional and lifecycle calendar
• Works with Creative Manager to design emails and build a creative email calendar
• Collaborates with Retention Marketing Manager to implement dynamic personalization within promotional and lifecycle emails.
• Builds, tests, and schedules all email communications in the email platform.
• Collaborates with other members of Marketing & Merchandising to feature compelling content within messages which aims to guide, inform, and entertain customers through their journeys
• Keeping up to date with email marketing best practices and design strategies
• Design for a broad range of digital media and contributes to discussions that create unique, differentiated and compelling creative concepts

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Powersports industry experience such as riding style and make/model/year is required
• Experience managing the email planning and execution process
• 3+ years equivalent experience in graphic design
• 2+ years experience in online retail / digital commerce
• Experience utilizing email platforms, including familiarity with the platform’s technical language
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated analytical proficiency
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• A strong online portfolio and design sensibilities.
• Proficiency in the adobe and google suite
• Critical, conceptual thinker with excellent attention to detail
• Collaborates and takes constructive feedback well
• Self-starting with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
