About the Role
At ZayZoon, the Event and Field Marketing Manager is pivotal in designing and executing impactful digital and in-person event programs. From webinars, partner training days, virtual events, industry sponsorships, and ZayZoon-hosted experiences, your mission will be to drive brand awareness and affinity, generate high-quality leads, increase engagement, and partner with our sales and marketing teams to exceed our goals. - Field Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with channel partner sales and marketing teams to design and execute impactful field marketing events that align with ZayZoon’s GTM strategy. You’ll think big-picture while ensuring each event drives measurable results.
- Event Operations: Execute all programs with operational excellence, including managing budgets, internal/external stakeholders, marketing and creative teams, event technology, shipping, booth builds, booth traffic and engagement activities, and other event logistics. You will deliver flawless event operations, including contract negotiations, managing vendor/partner relationships, and development/management of all project plans and timelines.
- Campaign Management & Engagement Generation: Execute event programs that create engagement, accelerate pipeline, and deepen our existing partner relationships. Strategize, build and execute integrated campaigns that involve an omnichannel by partnering with the growth marketing team, performance/digital marketing, and others for the execution. This includes driving lead follow-up plans and handling lead nurturing based on the solutions messaged at an event, and working with growth marketing and sales on tracking ROI (return on investment) and metrics at each event.
- Event Measurement: Define and measure event success metrics like ROI and ROX, ensuring insights are captured to improve program effectiveness continually.
Candidates must be located in Canada to be considered.
We are organized as a remote team, as such we are looking for candidates who can work effectively remotely. You must have access to a secure high speed internet connection and a secure workspace to ensure security of private information. This role is available on a permanently remote basis.
Please be aware that as part of our final hiring process, we will conduct reference calls with previous managers and possibly other individuals. Additionally, due to the nature of our business, a criminal record check and a basic security clearance will also be required.

- 5+ years of field marketing, event operations, and/or demand generation experience (preferably in high-growth SaaS scaleup)
- 2+ years working with cross-functional teams or stakeholders, ideally channel and partner organizations
- A valid passport for occasional travel to the United States
- Digital and in-person event experience including webinars, multi-day industry expos, partner training days, or demo days in support of incredible attendee event experiences
- Direct experience and ownership of producing various-sized programs and budgets from program goals to show management
- Project management expertise
- A strong handle on working with budgets, event contracts, expenses & accounts payable
- Ability to multitask and take the lead on several events simultaneously
