POWER Engineers is seeking a Fleet Operation Program Manager. This role is available to qualified candidates to work remotely anywhere within the US. The Fleet Operations Program Manager will manage the Fleet Service Center Department and they will partner with leadership and key stakeholders on interconnected Fleet projects and initiatives. They will act as a liaison between various departments facilitating cross-team collaboration, organize and track Fleet projects, proactively manage risk, manage project escalations, prioritize tasks, and business objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Accountable for managing people, setting direction, deploying resources, and performance evaluations.
  • Partner with leadership and Fleet stakeholders on the Fleet vision and strategy.
  • Drive Standardization of Fleet Business Processes.
  • Develop a multi-year program roadmap, aligning projects to business needs
  • Lead Fleet Operations Projects and initiatives
  • Automate Fleet Operations.
  • Manage Fleet vehicle standards.
  • Develop and Enhance Fleet reports.
  • Leverage industry data and the firm’s data to increase business operations efficiency.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide program level reports and updates to senior management or other stakeholders.
  • Lead the standardization and automation efforts of the Fleet Service Center activities and business processes:
  • Fleet Reporting
  • Vehicle standards and forecasts
  • Vehicle acquisitions
  • Long Term Vehicle Rental program
  • Registration, Toll Tags, and decals
  • Operator risk management
  • Data management and analysis
  • Automation of fleet documentation and record management
  • Vehicle Registrations
  • Titles
  • Certificates of Insurance
  • Partner with the Risk Management Insurance team to evaluate operator performance and its impact on POWER’s insurance premiums.
  • 3rd Party Partner Engagement
  • Identify and pursue Carbon Reduction opportunities.
  • Ensure internal clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Required Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Math, Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
    • 5+ years of Project or Program Management Experience involving corporate projects and initiatives.
    • Successful track record of creating and leading corporate projects.
    • Familiarity and collaboration experience with Business Analyst processes and/or requirements gathering techniques.
    • Ability to create effective relationships, listen, influence, and collaborate with internal teams.
    • Demonstrated attention to detail and time management capabilities.
    • Ability to develop and mentor others.
    • Effective client-facing, C-Suite, and internal team communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products.

    Desired Experience/Qualifications:

    • Formal leadership training and experience
    • Possesses effective communication skills, and the ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
    • Formal conflict management training and experience
    • Familiarity with Fleet Service Center business processes, policies, and technologies
    • Experience with fleet vehicle telematics systems
    • Knowledge of Department of Transportation Rules and Regulations
    • Experience working with Insurance stakeholders on claims and premiums.
    • Experience working with SmartSheet, Power BI, and Power Apps
    • Master’s degree or Professional certifications associated with the position is desired but not required.

    Salary DOE: The pay range for this position is $80K-$115K per year; however, base pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This figure does not include additional compensation such as health benefits, vacation, 401k, etc.
