Job Overview: 

We are looking for a talented and experienced Full Stack Web Developer to join our innovative team. This is a full-time remote position based in Australia, offering the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies to create solutions that make a real difference in people’s lives. 

As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, from enhancing existing web applications with industry-leading features to building brand-new applications from scratch. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our technology and be part of a collaborative team that values creativity, initiative, and excellence. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain web applications: Build, test, and deploy scalable, secure, and responsive full-stack web applications. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to create intuitive user interfaces and functional back-end systems. 
• Manage databases and servers: Design, implement, and maintain efficient database solutions. Handle server-side logic, API development, and integration. 
• Optimise application performance: Ensure the applications are fast, responsive, and optimised for performance and scalability. 
• Code reviews and testing: Conduct peer reviews and assist with testing and debugging. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends: Continuously learn and apply new technologies and development practices to improve overall development workflow and product quality. 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Web Developer or similar role. 
• Expert-level knowledge in the following technologies: 
• Front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), React.js 
• Back-end: Node.js, Express.js 
• Databases: SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) 
• Version Control: Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket) 
• APIs: RESTful API development, AWS API Gateway 
• Cloud services: AWS Cloud Services 
• Security: I clear understanding of security best practices and how to implement them in the front and backend. 
• DevOps: Docker, CI/CD pipeline integration 
• Responsive Design: Familiarity with Material UI 
• AI Coding Assistants: Experience with using AI coding assistance to improve productivity without compromising quality or security. 
• Testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, etc.) and test-driven development. 
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and version control workflows. 
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, remote environment. 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for team collaboration and client interactions. 
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. 

Preferred Skills: 

• Project Management Tools: Familiarity with using project management tools such as Jira to manager issues and backlogs. 
• 3D Rendering and Animation: Familiarity with 3D rendering in the browser using Three.js 
• Vector Graphic Scripting: Familiarity with libraries such as Paper.js for coding 2D graphics and animation or advanced understanding of HTML Canvas. 
• Natural Language Processing: Experience using software to analyze and manipulated text using any programming language. 
• WebSocket: Expertise using WebSocket in web applications. 

WORK FROM HOME REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 10 MBPS internet connection.
• Backup internet connection (postpaid or prepaid).
• Laptop or desktop with updated operating systems (at least core i5 or higher).
• Backup laptop or desktop (at least core i5 or higher).
• Headset with microphone for clear communication.
• Willingness to use Time Doctor for monitoring.
• Maintain a noise-free work environment during working hours.
• Must not be currently employed full time elsewhere.
