Job Overview

As a Full Stack Java Developer, you will take the lead in crafting innovative web applications using Java for back-end development and React for front-end interfaces. Your contributions will be crucial in shaping our products and meeting the demands of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the development of full-stack web applications using Java and React.
• Design and create reusable UI components to facilitate a seamless experience across various browsers and platforms.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to introduce new features and enhance existing functionalities.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Uphold code quality through comprehensive unit testing and thorough code reviews.
• Develop scalable and maintainable software solutions by adhering to industry best practices.
• Engage closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards.

Required Skills

• Over 9 years of experience in full-stack software development, specializing in enterprise-level web applications using Java, React, REST, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, JSON, and relational databases (e.g., Postgres).
• Proficient in Spring Boot and RESTful web services.
• Proven leadership capabilities in managing projects within an Agile framework, with a minimum of 2 years in estimating, planning, and executing complex tasks.
• Strong familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub.
• Skilled in utilizing build tools like Webpack, npm, and Storybook.
• Knowledge of Section 508 compliance and accessibility best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated adaptability in learning new technologies and responding to evolving requirements.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• A Master’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science is advantageous.
