In the UK you can find our products in NHS hospitals, private hospitals, care homes and thousands of local pharmacies where they are helping to reduce medication errors and are enabling clinicians to spend more time with patients.
We are the UK branch of Omnicell’s software engineering team and have developed web and mobile solutions specific for the UK and international market. The product we created and work on is installed throughout the NHS and we are currently expanding to different countries. We have recently moved to brand new offices in the Brighton Laines.
About the role
We are looking for developers that are keen to get involved and contribute to all aspects of the development lifecycle. We require a Full Stack Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Brighton as a result of our continued expansion. You may have a specialism in terms of technology stack but are keen to learn and get involved with new technologies as required. Our product has web based and mobile versions so there is plenty of scope to work with different technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Will be involved in the whole software development life cycle in a highly technical and collaborative agile development team.
You will develop web software using technologies including Angular 2+, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, C#, .NET Framework and Core, SQL Server and Microservices.
You will develop handset software using Xamarin – soon to become .Net MAUI. C# .Net Core
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies as required.
Work closely with application developers, business analysts, business stakeholders and QA teams.
Support existing applications where required.
Required Skills and Experience
4+ years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience in actively using all or most of the technologies mentioned above, with a primary interest in Angular or C# but experience with both.
Able to communicate clearly and work positively with colleagues and customers.
Experience architecting and contributing to solution design.
Ability to quickly take on and learn new technologies, tools and libraries.
Desirable Skills
Experience using Bitbucket and GIT.
Experience of working in an Agile development process (e.g. SCRUM).
Mobile app development – preferably in Xamarin
Cloud based technologies such as Docker, Kafka etc
Familiarity of hospital pharmacy and supplies environments
