Your mission
The Growth Lead for the Velocity Team is responsible for a high-volume, transactional sales and customer success model, focusing on deals under €10,000. This role requires expertise in scalable, tech-driven sales and onboarding processes. The main objectives are to optimize the customer acquisition funnel, drive user engagement through automated onboarding programs, and manage a highly efficient team.
Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), the Growth Lead oversees a cross-functional team of sales, customer success, and marketing professionals. The role emphasizes achieving growth targets while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement a scalable growth strategy for deals under €10,000.
- Define clear objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics for the Velocity Team.
- Lead a cross-functional team with a focus on collaboration and achieving shared goals.
- Manage the team’s budget, optimizing ROI across personnel, marketing, and operational expenses.
Customer Acquisition
- Continuously optimize the tech-driven sales funnel to maximize conversion rates.
- Deploy automation tools to streamline the high-velocity sales cycle.
- Refine the one-step sales process for “hand-raiser” customers to ensure a seamless experience.
Onboarding & Customer Engagement
- Develop automated onboarding programs to accelerate customer success with minimal manual intervention.
- Ensure customer success specialists provide personalized support when needed.
- Promote user engagement through scalable initiatives like tutorials, webinars, and knowledge base resources.
Collaboration & Alignment
- Partner with marketing to improve lead generation aligned with the Velocity ICP (Ideal Customer Profile).
- Collaborate closely with product and finance teams to enhance usability and refine contract processes.
Data-Driven Optimization
- Leverage data to test and improve sales and onboarding workflows continuously.
- Monitor KPIs such as CAC, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction (CSAT).
- Identify and address bottlenecks in the customer journey to boost efficiency and satisfaction.
Your profile
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
- Excellent proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
Experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience in sales, customer success, or growth roles, ideally in SaaS.
- Proven success managing transactional sales cycles and leveraging automation.
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on collaboration and results.
- Analytical mindset and expertise in data-driven decision-making.
- Deep understanding of SaaS sales funnels, customer lifecycle management, and onboarding strategies.
- Proficiency with CRM and automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
