Role Summary
The role is accountable for overseeing the delivery of Missions through multiple teams, supported by a team of product delivery managers, IT infrastructure delivery managers, and scrum masters. Further, the role is responsible for tracking and managing delivery performance through KPIs and relevant metrics while also ensuring that governance mechanisms are adhered to.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
Work as part of the delivery leadership team to implement transformational work in line with our move to our new agile and product led structure and framework
Work closely with product management to execute the quarterly/annual plan for the products and propositions in alignment with the product roadmaps priorities
Oversee the development of the delivery plans, provide guidance as required to ensure that the delivery is in line with both product & engineering requirements
Ensure that the resourcing of the delivery teams is undertaken as per the budget, complexity and requirements to ensure that the delivery is as per the plan
Guide the delivery teams, ensuring they are delivering at the right time and the right pace in line with the product roadmaps
Guide the team in the effective management of risks and issues early to ensure work completion as per the plan; recommend appropriate actions to overcome delays, challenges or cost over-runs.
Ensure that the delivery work life cycle is managed as per the governance guidelines; ensuring that gateway criteria are met at each stage in the delivery
Ensure that all documentation, including management and delivery plans, reports, logs and service introduction material are maintained
Manage dependencies of varying complexity, potentially planning and feeding into larger programmes and portfolios
Manage escalations, support in the removal of blockers, manage risks, to ensure that the product is delivered as per the plan
Provide guidance on agile ways of working to ensure that agile culture is embedded within the scrum teams
Monitor the performance of the in-flight deliveries; undertake course correction in case of deviations
Present the performance metrics with regard to delivery to the leadership team and develop action plan for improvements as required
Infuse a sense of ownership & pride amongst team members to deliver high quality work outputs
Institute a self-directed and high-performance culture in the team
Build a strong talent pipeline through hiring, internal movements, succession planning, talent reviews etc.
Enable a culture of continuous improvement and learning, by coaching team members and role-modelling self-development

Any graduation preferably in engineering
Certification in project management qualification (Agile, PMP, etc.)
Delivery management in a product led structure
Proven project management experience in a product development / IT services organization
Project Management expertise with a proven ability to apply a range of project management methodologies such as agile project management and scrum approaches
Experience of working through at least one agile transformation
Management of delivery through multiple dev teams applying scaled agile techniques as required
Leading the scrum master function, developing, and coaching people in this critical role in our squad structure
