Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and driven Clinical Account Manager (CAM) to serve as the primary liaison for our esteemed healthcare clients in the Denver, CO region. In this pivotal role, you will implement targeted marketing strategies, advocate for our innovative products, and ensure that our healthcare partners possess a thorough understanding of our offerings. Your expertise in sales will be crucial in meeting sales objectives by effectively conveying the clinical advantages of our products and executing your strategic Plan of Action (POA).

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent our products and services to a defined customer base, nurturing relationships with healthcare professionals and promoting appropriate product usage in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Develop and execute a business plan tailored to your territory, aligning with customer needs and sales targets, while utilizing analytical weekly sales data to prioritize physician engagement.
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of our products alongside competitor offerings to inform your sales tactics and enhance client interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements at both state and federal levels.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for customer outreach, local events, and other associated expenses efficiently.
  • Proactively identify and address challenges and opportunities, maintaining effective communication with sales and marketing teams.
  • Report adverse events to our Drug Safety department in line with established protocols.
  • Complete all administrative tasks punctually, including reporting on call activities and submitting expenses.

Required Skills

  • Proven strong work ethic with exceptional time management capabilities across a large geographical area.
  • Familiarity with single-source pharmacies, reimbursement programs, managed care, and formulary processes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

  • Must reside within the Denver, CO territory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a science-related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of dedicated hospital sales experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology sector, with at least 3 years specializing in specialty sales.
  • At least 3 years of experience in biologics sales, preferably within the specialty pharmacy arena, or 8 years of focused hospital sales experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of outstanding sales performance.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including overnight stays, with travel requirements potentially reaching 40-50% of your time.

Compensation And Benefits

The base salary for this position ranges from (120,000 to )190,000 annually, commensurate with experience and geographical location. Alongside a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
