This position collaborates closely with the ITdepartment, key stakeholders and vendors to ensure the successful planning,execution, and delivery of technology initiatives tailored to meet ourfirm’s specific needs on time and on budget.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:* Project Planning and Management: Lead the planning,execution, and closure of legal technology projects, ensuringadherence to budget, schedule, and scope constraints.* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with legal teams, ITprofessionals, key stakeholders and external vendors to defineproject objectives, scope, and requirements.* Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues proactively,developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on projecttimelines and deliverables* Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively acrossprojects, managing team workload and ensuring alignment withproject priorities.* Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensuredeliverables meet high standards of accuracy, functionality, andreliability.* Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive projectdocumentation, status reports, and metrics to track progress andcommunicate project status to stakeholders.* Change Management: Facilitate change management processes,ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new technologies within thelegal environment.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, orrelated field.* 5 years or greater proven experience managing IT projectsin a legal environment, with a strong understanding of legal workflows andtechnology solutions.* PMP or similar certification preferred but not required.* Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools(e.g., MS Project, JIRA), legal case management systems,document management systems, and legal applications.* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills,with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diversestakeholders.* Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, withthe ability to analyze complex issues and propose practical solutions.* Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding cross-functionalteams and driving projects to successful completion.This is a full-time, regular position with a multi-faceted health benefitpackage including medical, dental, and vision. The firm also offers lifeinsurance, short term disability plans and retirement plans in addition toholidays and paid time off. The firm offers hybrid work schedules combiningin office work days as well as remote work days.
