About the Role:

The Project Manager II will manage IT projects for organizational initiatives across all lines of business. This role coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors to achieve execution of projects. The Project Manager II responsibilities include delivering the project on time within scope This role will require a background in Agile project management, communication, and analysis.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors
  • Defines project scopes and objectives involving stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensures resource availability and allocation
  • Measures project performance using appropriate systems tools and techniques
  • Performs risk management to minimize project risk
  • Manages relationships with the clients and stakeholders
  • Manages documentation for assigned projects
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings and events
  • Produces and communicates regular project sponsor and stakeholders status reports and other documents as necessary across programs/projects
  • Prepares documentation defining policies to be established with leadership approval providing supporting documentation and specifications as needed
  • Optimizes efficiency in all areas of the project as well as future projects through capture and implementation of lessons learned into project methodology
  • Effectively evaluates and manages cross-project dependencies and constraints


Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to manage complex projects
  • Ability to work proactively and effectively with both business line and IT management project stakeholders
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proven working experience as a project manager on Information Technology projects


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of Agile Project Management experience required


Certificates/Licenses/Registration

  • PSM-I required within first 90 days of employment


Physical Requirements:

  • Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
