An exciting newly created opportunity exists for a professional, pro-active individual to take on this key role in the delivery of our Growth Strategy.Â
Reporting to the National Account Manager, the Key Account Manager will manage multiple accounts across different channels. Key responsibilities include preparing and executing strong strategic partnership plans, conducting business reviews, pursuing new product ranging opportunities, initiating promotional activity, forecasting, developing customer training plans, managing key customer events (such as trade events, field days, conferences etc), and developing trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
This role would suit someone looking to develop their career in Sales and Key Account Management – ideally your previous roles have involved sales administration, coordination etc.
What we need from you:
You will already possess a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage your workload. You have clear and concise written and verbal communication skills and can initiate, develop, and build professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
In addition,
- Intermediate to Advanced software knowledge – Outlook, Pronto, Excel & PowerPoint
- Excellent organisation skill
- Well-developed negotiation skills
- Experience in sales administrationÂ
- Experience in managing or liaising with customers – experience with National Accounts is preferable
- Experience within the hardware industry is advantageous
- The ability to work autonomously, perform under pressure and multi-task is a necessity
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Have the ability to travel interstate when required
