We’reseeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Analytics Engineer to join ourdynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data-drivensolutions in the medical cannabis space.As our Lead Analytics Engineer, you will lead our Data team, driving thedesign and development of robust data infrastructure for capturing,storing, and processing data related to medical cannabis therapies.You’ll not only contribute to groundbreaking projects but also managethe team, projects, and optimize our Business Intelligence (BI)platform.Day to day:Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable datainfrastructure.Provide leadership and mentorship to the Analytics Engineering team,fostering collaboration and skill enhancement.Manage projects, ensuring on-time delivery and scope adherence.Oversee and optimize the BI platform for efficiency, scalability, andsecurity.Collaborate with stakeholders, enforce data quality, assess newtechnologies, and monitor analytics solution performance.Implement and optimize data pipelines for efficient and accuratetransformation.Develop and maintain data models/products supporting advanced analyticsand reporting.Continuously optimize data processes for efficiency, scalability, andreliability.Conduct data analysis and profiling to identify quality issues,inconsistencies, and gaps.Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to define analyticsrequirements and develop solutions.Your Expertise:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, DataEngineering, or related field.Proven leadership experience as an Analytics Engineer or in a similarrole.Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., dbt, Airflow) anddata warehouse technologies (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery).Proficiency in building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines.Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and databasetechnologies.Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau) isdesirable.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Joining Montu means being part of a dynamic, innovative team dedicatedto making a positive impact on people’s lives.
