PURPOSE

The Lead Platform Solution Developer is a pivotal role focused on shaping Customer Engagement Information Technology solutions (Sales, Marketing & Service) & integration supporting Business Partner efficiency, enabling data driven process automation & insights, fostering analytics decision through digitalization & continuous end-users enhanced features.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Accountable for designing, configuring, developing, implementing solution within Salesforce platform and ensuring sufficient effort is made to promote “vanilla” functionality.

  • Accountable for Salesforce platform Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions, including custom applications, integrations, and enhancements.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, ensuring best practices and high-quality deliverables.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural blueprints and documentation for Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

  • Customize Salesforce applications to meet business requirements, including the development of custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver solutions that align with business goals.

  • Stay current with Salesforce updates, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the platform and its usage.

  • Collaborate with wider IT teams to oversee the integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems, utilizing APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.

  • Ensure the quality and performance of Salesforce solutions through rigorous testing and debugging.

  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Salesforce applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.

  • Identify and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure system reliability and user satisfaction.

Qualifications:


EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development and administration.
  • Salesforce certified SFDC Application or / and SFDC System Architect or equivalent certifications preferred (Sales / Service / Marketing / Data Clouds, CPQ, Logik.io, Contract Lifecycle Management).
  • Experience in programming languages like Apex, Lightning components, and web development technologies, to build custom applications, API integrations and user interfaces within Salesforce environment.
  • Working experience in Agile environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Understanding of Salesforce APIs and integration patterns to connect Salesforce with other systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Working experience in Agile environment, familiarity with Scrum or Kanban agile frameworks.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles, including continuous integration and continuous delivery
  • Experience with Git and branching strategies to manage code versions and collaboration.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring Salesforce technical teams, developers and administrators, promoting best practices and high-quality deliverables.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


NICE-TO-HAVE:

  • Experience in setting-up testing automation in Salesforce.
  • Experience in setting-up & managing CI / CD for Salesforce Release Management with documented technical roll-out process.
