Rad Hires is working with a fantastic startup looking for a Lead React-Native Engineer that is an expert in React Native.

NOTE: This is a remote role in the USA.

As a Lead Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of our cutting-edge mobile application. Your expertise in mobile technologies, excellent leadership skills, and strong problem-solving abilities will be crucial to the success of our mobile development projects.

In This Role, You Will

• Architect, design, develop and deploy high-quality mobile applications for our iOS platform
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements, and user needs, and translate them into technical specifications
• Drive the entire mobile development lifecycle, from planning and estimation to implementation, testing, and release
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and maintainable codebase
• Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and apply them to enhance our mobile development processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing innovative solutions to ensure the stability and performance of mobile applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend engineers, UX/UI designers, and QA testers, to ensure seamless integration and smooth operation of mobile applications
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing coding standards, code reviews, and sharing knowledge through documentation and training sessions.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 8-10 years of experience in cross-platform mobile application development using React Native for iOS and Android platforms
• Deep knowledge of mobile development using React Native
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture patterns, UI/UX principles, and performance optimization techniques
• Solid understanding of backend systems, APIs, and web services integration to deliver robust mobile applications
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Up-to-date knowledge of mobile industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices

Compensation: $180,000-$200,000 (depending on experience and location) + meaningful equity
