Position Overview: 

The Technical Team Leader is responsible for managing technical resources within their team. Leading strategic initiatives for efficiency gains, staff development and satisfaction. Conduction regular performance appraisals and providing mentoring. Also providing Level 2 technical assistance to clients when required, both remote and onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leader

  • Lead, manage, accountability
  • Drive team engagement 
  • Onboarding and offboarding staff members. Drive staff recruitment
  • Conduct one on ones with staff for annual Performance Development Plan’s, performance and coaching conversations
  • Manage team to agreed Key Performance Indicator’s
  • Mentoring and leading team members to support their growth
  • Weekly Time sheet approvals
  • Manage conflict resolution and client escalations
  • Hold direct reports accountable for delivery on agreed outcomes 
  • Hosting regular team meetings
  •  
  • Technical Support 
  • Respond to client requests in a timely manner through logged tickets or inbound phone calls.
  • Deliver a high-quality customer experience through professional and proactive support services.
  • Accurately record all incidents, requests and actions taken.
  • Resolve highly complex incidents and requests 
  • As required escalate incidents and requests in a timely manner.
  • Assess and resolve complex automated alerts and warnings.
  • Compliance with defined process and procedure. 
  • Represent the company professionally whilst at client premises.
  • Submit weekly timesheets

 

Requirements:

  • Australian PR/Citizenship.
  • Availability to work full time hours.
  • Driver’s license and vehicle.
  • Experience working within a similar role. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Windows Server/ Desktop environment Support skills.
  • Ability to support Microsoft Office suite applications and MS 365.
  • Advanced Virtualisation Platform Knowledge (VMware and Hyper V).
  • Advanced Hardware Troubleshooting Knowledge.
  • Advanced Understanding of Voice and Data Networks. 
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities. 
  • Proactive approach and willingness to help others 
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision and provide high quality outcomes 
  • A continual improvement mindset
  • High level of attention to detail.

 

Desirable Qualifications:

· Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

· Certifications in IT, networking, cyber security or a related field

· Previous experience in a customer service and IT support role.

· Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

-Proven experience as a team leader or senior developer with leadership responsibilities

 

Working Conditions: 

This position involves working in an office or onsite with our clients, interacting with end-users primarily via phone or email. The role may require occasional lifting of computer equipment and working outside regular business hours to accommodate user needs or system maintenance.
