The Global Marketing Automation Manager leads the overall Marketing Automation (MA) program through collaboration and co-creation. They are the key orchestrator among all teams utilizing Marketo and all associated platforms and technologies. They drive growth and innovation throughout while ensuring best-practices and legal guidelines.

They value, respect, and empower their direct team as they lead. They understand the importance of connecting individual growth to company goals.

They are interconnected with their Demand Generation peers and the channels they represent. They partner and enable growth across all digital functions: Web, IT, Analytics, Creative Services and MarTech.

They partner with Campaign Managers to deliver scalable programs that drive marketing KPIs and have analysis and optimization baked into the execution cycle.

They partner with the Global Demand Generation Manager on strategic direction; always with a focus on generating qualified sales leads and revenue.

How You’ll Make An Impact:

  • Leading and optimizing end-to-end marketing automation processes and workflows to support audience segmentation, data enrichment, campaign design/build, lead scoring, testing, lead routing and hand off to Sales.
  • Managing high-volume global campaign production including enterprise-scaled nurture programs.
  • Improving and maintaining best-practice use of Marketo and all associated platforms by all end-users
  • Partnering with the Marketing Analytics team for campaign effectiveness reporting and the roll-up to marketing KPIs.
  • Establishing trusted, effective relationships and manage expectations across diverse sets of partners in a large, matrixed environment.

What You Bring:

  • Education: 4-year degree in a marketing or tech related field or comparable work experience.
  • Work Experience: 4+ years of Marketo experience and a solid understanding of Salesforce.com
  • Core Marketo technical understanding.
  • The ability to lead a technical team with well-developed people management skills.
  • Capabilities to continually refine operational and process workflows.
  • Ability to both lead and innovate and/or collaborate and compromise in whatever combination is appropriate and effective.
  • Ability to manage program performance against marketing KPIs and benchmarks, while implementing ongoing optimization
  • Experience in B2B.

Technical Skills

  • Superior organizational and time management skills with the ability to perform detail-oriented work accurately.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills; ability to identify risks and remove roadblocks.
  • Skilled at all communication channels (meetings, email, instant messaging, presentations and other documentation).
  • Strong understanding of all digital marketing channels (including Web, SEM, Social, Webinar/Video).
  • Working knowledge of the MS Office suite or equivalent.

People Skills and EQ 

  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken; is clear, concise, sincere, and persuasive.
  • Ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable with communicating across functions and with all levels in the organization.
  • Ability to negotiate and balance the input of stakeholders when making decisions and supporting the priorities of the program.
  • Ability to take direction, or encourage direction, or work independently within the scope of agreed upon goals.

Location: Bio-Rad is pleased to offer the flexibility of Remote Work for this role anywhere in the U.S, but with a strong preference to be able to work West Coast hours.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $101,600 to $174,700 at the time of posting. This range is inclusive of all geographic locations within the United States. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.

* Minimum reflects our lowest paying locations, and the top end reflects our highest paying locations. The range in your geographic location will vary but will be within the indicated range.
