ABOUT THE ROLE
Join us as the Marketing and Communications Manager, where you’ll lead impactful communications across Australia and New Zealand. From executive strategic communications, you’ll elevate our brand, enhance market presence, and craft messages that engage and inspire employees and customers.
As a creative, organised, and collaborative storyteller, you’ll ensure our company’s values, strategies, and positioning shine through all communications, aligning internal and external messaging. Your role will be key in driving cohesive, purposeful communication that resonates with audiences and strengthens our brand.
You will make an impact through:
- Internal Communications Strategy & Leadership: Developing and implementing ANZ internal communications plans that align with our purpose, values, and business goals, fostering a culture of engagement and alignment.
- Leadership & Change Communications: Collaborating with executives to craft compelling leadership messages and support key change initiatives.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partnering with global and local teams, PPC, and business leaders to ensure seamless alignment between internal and external communications, amplifying our shared goals.
- Media & External PR Management: Overseeing ANZ media and PR strategy to enhance brand awareness, position us as a market leader and showcase our achievements.
- Content Development & Delivery: Creating high-quality content for internal channels, and external media & events, ensuring messaging is clear, engaging, and consistent.
- Event & Webinar Oversight: Planning and executing impactful internal and external events, potentially including town halls, webinars, and customer activations, strengthening employee and customer connections.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will present with the following background and skills:
- 7+ years of direct experience in corporate communications role or similar role acting in an internal and external marketing communications capacity.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred – equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Demonstrated success in linking organisation purpose, values, and EVP into clear and engaging content.
- Superior project, organisational, and time management skills with a strong process orientation – managing and prioritising multiple tasks simultaneously in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, environment.
- A strong creative and strategic thinker with a proven record of successful hands-on, end-to-end content delivery coupled with superior copywriting skills with a passion for storytelling.
- High attention to detail, with a passion for customer centricity and employee engagement and quality in written and visual communication.
