Job Description:
The Content Marketing Manager (CMM) will play a critical role in establishing our company as an industry thought leader through the production of high-quality, educational content. Reporting to the COO, the CMM will focus on creating content that drives lead generation, nurtures prospects, and supports our customer and partner marketing initiatives. The role involves producing a variety of content types—including blog posts, white papers, eBooks, video scripts, and email campaigns—and requires strong writing, graphic design, and web content management skills. This is a remote-friendly, collaborative role, ideal for a proactive, self-motivated individual who excels at communication and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, publish, and manage content to generate leads, convert raw leads to MQLs, and support marketing initiatives.
- Create engaging, high-value content such as blog posts, white papers, eBooks, video scripts, email campaigns, and presentation decks.
- Write, proofread, edit, design, and manage web content.
- Work closely with product marketing and demand generation teams, as well as external agencies and consultants, to deliver final, publishable materials.
- Update, target, and repurpose existing content for varied audiences, including vertical/horizontal markets and customers/partners.
- Collaborate effectively with a geographically distributed team and leverage input from subject matter experts.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of content marketing experience
- Experience in B2B technology marketing
- Adept business writing + sound graphic design/layout experience (work samples required)
- SEO knowledge and experience preferred
- Proven ability to work independently, while effectively collaborating with remote teams
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education preferred
Qualifications:
- Ability to understand complex concepts and refine them into concise, engaging content
- Ability to focus and demonstrate relentless attention to detail
- Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint is critical
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is strongly preferred
- Experience with Marketo or similar marketing automation platforms
- Experience with web content management platforms (we use WordPress)
