Position Objective
The Marketing Manager is a demand generation leader who is responsible for developing and executing marketing and communications strategies that align with corporate and business goals. They are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the marketing department, including the tactical execution of content creation, brand awareness, and digital marketing. You will be expected to leverage your expertise to scale the revenue engine for Blacksmith’s continued growth.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Global Demand Generation strategy by target market and campaign type
- Create and manage a promotional budget that meets goals for marketing-sourced pipeline growth
- Understand the best ways to segment and leverage our customer and prospect database and facilitate conversion to paid and upsold customers
- Develop integrated paid and organic programs that significantly increase the marketing database and overall pipeline (e.g., Google PPC, content marketing, webinars, events)
- Work with the content marketing and sales teams to develop (write, drive review process, publish) and promote marketing materials to drive awareness and interest
- Identify marketing investment opportunities and propose initiatives to test out those opportunities and pick winners to integrate in the strategy and plan as the business grows and evolves
- Establish and track KPIs and leading indicators, and provide weekly progress reporting as part of these campaigns
- Prepare and submit accurate activity reports, pipeline forecasts, and conversion rates to leadership
Qualifications
- 3 years of marketing experience preferred with demonstrated experience developing and executing marketing plans, marketing campaigns, brand strategy and lead generation.
- Successful track record of achieving and exceeding marketing pipeline objectives in complex solutions environments
- Expert level of understanding of email marketing, audience targeting, segmentation, and lead generation
- Has successfully planned and executed multi channel marketing campaigns (including PPC and other paid advertising) with demonstrable ROI
- Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priority effectively and efficiently while delivering results on-time and within budget
- Proficiency in marketing design for websites, social media, advertising, etc.
- Outcome-oriented – thrives at translating concepts and ideas into actionable results
