Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience working with the MERN stack, a strong understanding of web development concepts, and the ability to deliver robust and scalable applications. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing best practices to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js).
Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to create and improve web applications.
Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack (client-side, server-side, database).
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Participate in code reviews, providing feedback and suggestions to improve code quality.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in web development, particularly in the JavaScript ecosystem.
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Manage cloud deployments and ensure proper application scaling and performance monitoring.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
3+ years of hands-on experience with the MERN stack.
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
Strong understanding of React.js, including component lifecycle, state management (using Redux or Context API), and Hooks.
Experience with Node.js and Express.js in building RESTful APIs and back-end services.
Knowledge of MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, aggregation, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deployment and server management.
Understanding of front-end build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, NPM, Yarn).
Ability to write unit tests and perform integration testing (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Chai).
