We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Multidiscipline Inspector to join our team in the UAE. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all operations within our oil and gas projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in inspection across various disciplines, including mechanical, piping ,pipeline , storage tanks ,Onshore and offshore. You will work closely with project teams to identify and mitigate risks while ensuring that all work is carried out according to industry regulations and company policies. This position not only demands technical expertise but also excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct thorough inspections of materials, equipment, and installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
– Review and analyze engineering documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
– Perform inspections across multiple disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, civil, and instrumentation, providing a holistic approach to quality assurance.
– Identify non-conformance issues and work collaboratively with teams to develop and implement corrective action plans.
– Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality-related issues and recommendations for improvement.
– Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports that outline the status of quality control activities and any identified deficiencies.
– Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all inspection activities.
– Provide training and support to junior inspectors and project personnel on quality standards and inspection processes.
– Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and best practices related to oil and gas inspections.
– Assist in the development of inspection plans and quality assurance procedures for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in inspection within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on multidiscipline inspections.
– Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards such as ASME, API, NACE, and ISO.
– Certifications such as CSWIP welding and BGAS Coating or NACE is mandatory.
– Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, along with relevant software for documentation and reporting.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
– Willingness to travel to various project sites within the UAE and occasionally internationally as required.
– Fluency in English is required.
Salary:
AED
7,000 to 9,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
