Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated NetSuite functional consultant to join our team. You will be responsible for the configuration, customization, and maintenance of our NetSuite ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. Youll start to take accountability for deliverables, lead problem-solving sessions with executive-level clients, and eventually develop a reputation as a Subject Matter Expert for all things NetSuite. Your primary goal will be to optimize the functionality and performance of NetSuite to meet the evolving needs of our organization. This role requires a strong understanding of business processes, excellent technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

What You Will Do

• Serve as a subject matter expert on NetSuite functionality and capabilities, advising clients on industry trends and best practices.
• Customize and configure NetSuite modules, workflows, forms, fields, roles, and permissions to align with business requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to design and implement integrations between NetSuite and other business systems, ensuring data integrity and smooth information flow.
• Provide technical support to end users, troubleshoot system issues, and offer guidance on best practices.
• Stay updated with NetSuite enhancements and new releases, evaluate their applicability to business processes, and drive system improvements and optimizations.
• Develop custom reports, dashboards, and KPIs to provide insights into business performance. Utilize saved searches and reporting tools to extract and analyze data.
• Oversee data imports, exports, and migration processes while ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, sales, operations, and IT, to understand their needs and optimize NetSuite configurations accordingly.
• Coordinate and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements. Conduct thorough testing and manage change control processes to minimize disruptions.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a NetSuite functional consultant or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of NetSuite ERP functionalities.
• Solid knowledge of NetSuite configuration, customization, and administration, including workflows, forms, fields, roles, and permissions.
• Experience with at least one NetSuite vertical (Finance, Inventory, Projects, Revenue Recognition, etc.).
• Experience with system integration between NetSuite and other business systems (CRM, eCommerce, etc.).
• Experience designing customizations in NetSuite and working closely with developers to automate business processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• NetSuite certifications (Administrator, SuiteFoundation, Consultant) are highly desirable.
• Experience in accounting principles is highly desirable.
