Your New Role
Reporting to the Applications Delivery Manager, you’ll develop, build, test, deploy and continuously improve Landcom’s Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Azure and PowerApps platforms. You’ll help ensure the highest levels of availability, performance and security across all core platforms whilst acting as a resource and SME to the IT Team and the wider Landcom business. You’ll liaise with vendors and external support groups for code review, adherence to governance, repairs, maintenance, and support.
This is a development role – it would suit someone who is hungry to be developed, mentored and gain breadth of experiences. Key responsibilities:
- Analyse business requirements for support and change;
- Analyse, assess and recommend solutions and alternatives;
- Perform high level system design activities to support requests;
- Produce/modify high level system design specifications;
- Design, code and build scalable Office 365 solutions, primarily SharePoint websites, using out-of-the-box features, custom SPFX and Power Platform Solutions;
- Translate logical designs into physical designs and produces detailed design documentation;
- Maps work to user specification and removes errors and deviations from specification to achieve user-friendly processes; and
- Review all requests for application support and enhancements.
Your Skills & Experience
Ideally you’ll have
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams and Power Platform development;
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring compliance with all internal processes and guidelines;
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and then develop solutions or support existing solutions to meet business needs. The ability to adjust communication style and technical information to suit varying audiences, expressing technology through a business lens;
- Demonstrate a best practice, user-centric development mindset;
- Experience with SPFx Framework for SharePoint Online development using TypeScript, ReactJS, PnP Framework, HTML5, CSS, JQuery, JSON, REST; and
- Experience in Microsoft 365/SharePoint Online best practices and their application in production environments.
