THIS POSITION IS FOR PEOPLE IN THE NEW YORK CITY METRO AREA – or those who can travel to the city for meetings when needed (Connecticut, NJ, potentially Philly, etc)
I am partnered exclusively with a full-service engineering firm that works with some of the world’s largest companies, helping them to fill engineering gaps with top tech talent, and build world-class products, and novel solutions for a lower cost than traditional recruitment fees.
They have completed large-scale multi-million dollar, long-term, highly profitable projects with companies including Coinbase, Brex, Google, Facebook, and more.
We are currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Principal or Director-level Business Development Executive to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in the US staffing/consulting markets, and deep tech industry knowledge. The candidate must also have an extensive network of enterprise companies and clients in the region.
They have more than 180 tier-1 Engineers coming from top tech companies, FinTechs, Hedge Funds – all from top Computer Science schools who have all worked at enterprise level, there to service the deals YOU bring in, so you get PAID.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain relationships with enterprise companies and clients in the US
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the business in the US
- Generate new leads and opportunities
- Build a robust pipeline of clients and projects
- Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and collaborations
What You’ll Bring:
- A HUNTER – through and through
- SELF-SUFFICIENT – don’t need an army of SDRs, you have your own book
- At least 8 years of client-facing professional experience, with a proven track record of success in the US staffing or consulting market
- A strong network of enterprise companies and clients in the region
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners
- Experience in developing and executing strategic plans
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and mitigate risks
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
On Offer:
- Base salary from $80-125k
- 25-50% commission on all deals ($1m GP will be over $400k OTE)
- Potential OTE surpassing $1m – and it’s achievable

These positions have a huge upside, and the company has a proven track record. Ideally, this position is best suited to someone who’s been a Business Dev-focused Recruiter, Headhunter, or someone with experience in consulting at Accenture, Deloitte, etc.
This isn’t an everyday BD role – we need someone with proven experience and a strong track record in the staffing/consulting space. Applications with no relevant experience will be ignored.
