Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the team in the adoption and application of Agile principles, values, and practices.
- Develop, manage, and communicate a comprehensive product roadmap with clear short-term and long-term objectives.
- Act as the product authority, guiding and supporting the product throughout its lifecycle.
- Coordinate product releases both internally and externally, ensuring thorough testing and incorporating customer feedback.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Collaborate diligently with internal and external engineering teams to ensure quality product delivery.
- Identify and address any challenges or miscommunications that may arise within the team or with stakeholders.
- Utilize tools like JIRA and Confluence to gather and assess Agile metrics, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with product goals.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams, including executive stakeholders.
- Proficiency in utilizing JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint for project management.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear dialogue across all levels.
- Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps/DevOps pipeline processes and tools.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in product management and comprehensive product delivery, preferably within the government or healthcare sectors.
- Prior experience serving as a Scrum Master in a software development context.
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, Product Owner/Manager, or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, or the healthcare sector is an advantage.
- Experience managing multiple Scrum teams across diverse contexts, team sizes, organizational cultures, and locations is preferred.
