The Difference You Will Make

As a Product Manager at Apperture, you will be the strategic leader behind our AI-driven products. You will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring that our solutions meet market demands and exceed client expectations. Your deep understanding of the AI space will guide product strategy, foster innovation, and align product development with business objectives. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive the creation of products that not only leverage advanced AI technologies but also deliver exceptional value to our clients in industries such as healthcare, wellness, finance, and banking.

A Typical Day

Product Lifecycle Management: Lead and execute all phases of the product lifecycle, including market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, and product launch.

Proof of Concept (POC) Projects: Design and conduct POC projects for AI products, focusing on delivering tailored solutions for various client needs.

Agile Framework Management: Manage sprint planning and execution within an Agile framework, ensuring effective project management from inception to deployment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, engineering, and data science teams to develop comprehensive product strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.

Product Marketing Strategies: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop product marketing strategies, positioning, and messaging to ensure the product’s success across the company.

Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality of the products that are shipped, manage ongoing quality control, and continue to develop new features for existing products.

Client Interaction: Engage with clients to gather feedback, understand their needs, and ensure that our products effectively address their challenges.

Market Trends Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AI, NLP, and LLMs to inform product strategy and maintain a competitive edge.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive product documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders on product performance and development progress.

Support Startup Growth: Adapt to the dynamic startup environment by taking on additional responsibilities such as capacity planning, documentation, and cross-functional support as needed.

Your Expertise

Experience: 3-4 years of experience in product management, preferably within the AI or tech industry.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field from a reputable institution.

Product Lifecycle Management: Strong experience in managing the full lifecycle of a product, including planning, execution, and delivery.

AI and LLMs Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and the broader AI/ML landscape, with a strong understanding of current trends and technologies in the field.

Agile Methodologies: Proven effectiveness in leading and managing projects within an Agile framework.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with product goals.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Communication Skills: Excellent skills in writing, editing, and compiling comprehensive documents, along with strong presentation and public speaking skills.

Technical Proficiency: Practical experience in programming with Python and SQL is highly desirable.

User-Centered Approach: Experience in conducting user research, gathering requirements, and translating them into actionable product features.

Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, able to handle multiple tasks and pivot quickly as priorities change.

Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
