Exploits Native Women’s Association (ENWA) is a Non Profit Indigenous Women’s organization who’s mandate is to promote, enhance, and encourage social, economic, cultural and political wellbeing of Indigenous Women within the geographic region of the Island portion of Central NL, as well as to recognize, respect, promote, defend and enhance Indigenous ancestral laws, spiritual beliefs, language and traditions.Position Title: Project CoordinatorLocation: Grand Falls-WindsorHours of work: 35 hours weeklyTerm Position: Jan. 6/2025- March 28/2025
Rate of pay: $25 per hourJob description: ENWA is seeking a Project Coordinator to deliver a funded grant from the Indigenous Violence Prevention NL grants program. This is a hybrid position of working from home and office.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, devise, and facilitate proposed workshops as outlined within the proposal• Meet proposal deadlines and ensure reports to funder arecompleted• Draft content of proposed workshops and facilitate/co-facilitate same• Work with ENWA’s Board of Directors to determine culturally appropriate content and deliverance of workshops• Assemble information on project objectives, outcomes, deliverables, implementation and methods
Qualifications
Education:
Certificate, diploma, or degree in Education, Community Development, Office or Business Administration, or a related field.
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Experience:
- Experience in project management, proposal writing, prospect research, general fundraising or comparable and transferable skills acquired in a professional setting• Experience with developing and delivering workshops preferred• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to engage in strategic planning• Strong entrepreneurial attitude including drive for results and proven ability to stay focused on goals; ability to prioritize competing priorities and meet deadlines• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail• Strong written communication and presentation skills• Strong computer and Internet proficiency, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and social media tools• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively and courteously with external partners• High professional and ethical standards for handling confidential information

- Two professional references required• Code of conduct and vulnerable sector query required• Some travel may be required; a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
