Your Job:
As the Project Lead for Bendigo and surrounding areas, you will be a key member of our team, generating new employers, participant leads and securing traineeship opportunities. You will liaise with local community groups to help identify women who would benefit from our program, using the WomenCAN Australia model to assist women prepare for employment and support them through this process. 2025 – your year to make a difference.Â
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Identify employers who can provide traineeships and employment opportunities
- Liaise with local community groups to help identify women who would benefit from our program
- Provide tailored support to participants, guiding them through training and employment preparation using WomenCAN Australia’s proven model.
- Drive the program’s success by monitoring outcomes and ensuring continuous improvement.
Your Qualifications:
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector, with a passion for empowering disadvantaged communities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage complex projects.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills to build relationships across diverse groups, including employers, community organizations, and program participants.
