Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage intricate projects, ensuring that all milestones are met punctually and within financial constraints.
- Collaborate with government staff and stakeholders to attain project objectives and cultivate strong partnerships.
- Provide expert technical guidance and strategic planning to guarantee alignment with predefined goals.
- Monitor project progress, address issues in a timely manner, and pinpoint opportunities for process enhancement.
- Ensure adherence to regulations, policies, and contractual obligations.
- Serve as the primary liaison to address government inquiries and provide regular updates.
- Identify potential risks and mitigate them, informing stakeholders of any contractual or programmatic issues.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in project management methodologies.
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comprehensive understanding of government procurement processes.
- Proven abilities in problem-solving and proactive planning.
- Capacity to work effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 24 semester hours in business-related coursework from an accredited institution, or 10 years of experience as a federal contract specialist in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management activities related to government acquisitions.
- At least 5 years of experience in the development of acquisition policies and guidance.
- Relevant certifications such as:
- DAWIA Level III
- FAC-C Level III
- NCMA Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM)
- NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM)
