ATTRACT has partnered with a prominent Civil & Infrastructure Company in search of a experienced Project Manager & Project Engineer.
ATTRACT has partnered with a prominent Civil & Infrastructure Company in search of a seasoned Project Manager & Project Engineer to bolster their team, overseeing projects on a national scale.
The ideal Project Manager candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project including Safety, HR issues, Financial Planning and Quality from contract award through to final completion. The position requires an individual who possesses a strong drive, a dedicated work ethic, and a focused approach to attaining goals.
The ideal Project Engineer candidate will posses a strong background in Civil construction, including bridge and concrete structures, knowledge and understanding of TMR specifications or similar & understanding of HSEQ Management Systems.
Multiple roles & locations available.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage construction planning, programming, and completion schedules;
- Effectively manage and monitor construction performance and progress;
- Work closely with the projects team to ensure timely delivery of programme requirements from a cost and time perspective;
- Subcontractor, plant and equipment management;
- Cost control;
- Maintain and apply all relevant standards and polices;
- Managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction;
- Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget;
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks;
- Leadership and management skills with the ability to mentor others;
- Management of employees, plant, and equipment
Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering (preferred)
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in civil construction & Infrastructure
- Prior experience with bridge and concrete structures (desirable)
- Knowledge and understanding of TMR specifications or similar.
- Understanding of HSEQ Management Systems
- Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills allowing you to manage multiple priorities whilst delivering the project within selected timeframes, cost and quality constraints.
- High attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deliver on tight deadlines
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
- Strong client focus
- High level of IT proficiency, computer literacy, MS Office Suite
