Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee projects in the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. This role requires expertise in the pharmaceutical landscape, including regulatory compliance, product development, and cross-functional team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are executed according to plan, with adjustments made as necessary.
Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, providing guidance and support to ensure collaboration and effective communication. Foster a positive team environment that promotes productivity and innovation.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies. Manage expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring that expenditures remain within approved limits. Provide regular financial updates to senior management.
Performance Monitoring: Track project progress against milestones and deliverables, providing regular updates to stakeholders. Implement corrective actions as needed to address any deviations.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices within the project management team.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Management, or a related field. PMP certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of drug development processes and regulatory requirements.
Skills:
Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical product development, clinical trials, and regulatory affairs
