SALES AGENT – NEW DEVELOPMENTS (COMMISSION-BASED)

 

Job Description

 

Newpoint Properties is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Real Estate Agent to focus on selling off-plan developments and global / offshore projects. This role is ideal for an experienced real estate professional with a track record of selling to the diaspora market as well as high net worth individuals (HNWIs) and having an in-depth understanding of the real estate landscape.

 

The successful candidate must be a go-getter with a passion for closing deals, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships with clients.

 

As a commission-based role, the job holder will have significant earning potential based on performance. The successful candidate must be self-motivated and driven to exceed sales targets, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. They will also need to be highly organized, with excellent time management skills to handle multiple clients and transactions simultaneously.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Sales and Business Development:

 

·      Identify and pursue sales opportunities for off-plan developments and global listings.

·      Generate leads and build a strong network of HNWIs and potential clients from the diaspora market interested in investing in real estate in Kenya.

·      Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

 

Client Engagement:

 

·      Develop and nurture relationships with HNWIs providing personalized service and consultation to meet their investment needs.

·      Understand the unique requirements of Diaspora clients, providing expert advice on off-plan developments, upcoming real estate trends, and local & Global market conditions.

 

Marketing and Outreach:

 

·      Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns for the Diaspora market, and HNWIs showcasing new developments and global projects.

·      Represent Newpoint Properties at networking events, virtual forums, and expos focused on investment in real estate.

 

Negotiation & Closing:

 

·      Handle all aspects of the sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring seamless and professional transactions.

·      Negotiate terms, prepare contracts, and facilitate property viewings (virtual or in- person) for Diaspora clients.

 

Reporting & Analysis:

 

·      Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client interactions, and deals closed.

·      Provide regular updates and reports to the sales manager on sales performance, pipeline, and market trends.

 

Key Qualifications:

 

·      Diploma in Business, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.

·      Proven experience in real estate sales, particularly with new developments, off-plan housing, and large-scale property projects.

·      Prior experience selling to HNWIs and the Diaspora market is highly preferred.

·      Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex real estate concepts clearly and persuasively.

·      Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

·      Self-driven, highly focused, and results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

·      Familiarity with CRM systems and sales software to manage leads and track sales progress.

·      Knowledge of the Kenyan real estate market, investment trends, and legal frameworks related to property transactions.

·      Flexibility to work remotely and manage a global client base.

·      Ability to travel for client meetings, site visits, or real estate expos, both locally and internationally, as needed.

·      Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·      Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
