Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Supply Chain Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality recruitment services to clients and candidates within the supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics sector. This role offers an excellent opportunity to engage in market research, business development, and talent acquisition while building meaningful relationships with industry professionals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Research and Market Mapping:
Conduct thorough market research to identify key industry trends and emerging opportunities in the supply chain sector.
Develop comprehensive market maps to understand talent availability and competitor landscapes.
Monitor industry news, mergers, and key personnel movements to inform recruitment strategies.
2. Business Development (BD):
Proactively identify and engage with potential clients to build and nurture long-term partnerships.
Develop tailored solutions for client recruitment needs, understanding their organizational goals and challenges.
Present proposals, negotiate contracts and manage client relationships to maximize revenue opportunities.
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets through effective recruitment practices.
Deliver exceptional customer service to both clients and candidates, ensuring a seamless experience.
3. Candidate Sourcing and Engagement:
Utilize a range of sourcing tools and platforms to identify and approach top talent.
Conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidate suitability for specific roles and client requirements.
Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future client needs.
4. Administrative Duties:
Format and brand candidate resumes to align with company and client standards.
Maintain accurate records on the CRM system, including client and candidate interactions.
Prepare and present weekly reports on activity metrics, including placements, pipeline, and revenue generated.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
A bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in recruitment, supply chain, or sales-related roles.
Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets.
Experience in market mapping or research is a strong advantage.
Skills and Attributes:
Strong understanding of the supply chain and logistics industry.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM systems.
