They are an extremely high-quality manufacturer of commercial applications including appliances that relate to refrigeration. They lead the way in commercial fridges, freezers, ice making and display cabinets as well as other bespoke products that sell into similar market applications. What sets them apart is that they proudly represent their quality and sell on value not price which has led to their substantial growth locally and globally.

 

This regional role is based in Sydney (any location) and has the responsibility for growth of the NSW and QLD markets initially with scope to grow into larger scale position once you have proven your success in the region. You have the freedom to work remotely for the most part with occasional visits to head office in Sydney as required. This will give you the freedom to plan the most effective schedule to maximise your days. As you would expect there will be a fair amount of travel in this role, however the vast majority of regional customers can be managed through phone and video calls. Whilst there will be a small amount of managing an existing customer base of resellers and distributors the major opportunity to show your skill will be in securing new opportunities with independent and chain markets by sourcing multi-site opportunities from a specification or similar origin. Your manager will work in combination with you on this especially in the initial time in the role so that you are developed and progress your sales acumen.

 

This role will really suit someone who is really looking to make a mark in a company and after planting their flag of success, reap the benefit of promotional possibilities as you and the company continue to grow together. You must have some level of external commercial sales to be considered, and ideally you will have sold some sort of commercial appliance solution. What supersedes experience is attitude and if you are really determined to progress your career you are still encouraged to apply. Clearly you must have some experience running a territory and know how to plan and schedule. You must also be able to show you can follow sales metrics and know how they work to ensure your success in a region.

You will receive a very strong base salary for the role and a car allowance on top that will easily ensure you are not out of pocket for travel. Bonuses are generous and paid quarterly.

PLEASE NOTE: There is only a car allowance available for this position. If you require a company vehicle unfortunately we cannot consider you. 

Initial screening for this position will occur from the week commencing 6th of January with interviews with the company to occur throughout January, finalising for a February start.
