Sales Account Manager for a US Tax and Accounting Firm

Job Summary: USA Tax Gurus LLC, is a remote US Tax and Accounting firm, seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales account manager. The Sales account manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, communicating with and onboarding new clients, to achieve targets and objectives. This role requires strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a track record of success in driving sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Communication & Engagement: Serve as the first point of contact for clients, handling inquiries via phone, email, and various platforms. Actively engage with potential leads, aiming to convert inquiries into long-term clients.

  • Lead Management: Maintain an updated and organized lead list, tracking prospects through detailed notes. Follow up with potential clients to ensure timely responses and move them through the sales pipeline.

  • Sales Pitches & Proposals: Quickly respond to posted opportunities by submitting tailored sales proposals. Ensure all communications are documented and organized for future reference.

  • Client Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new clients, from sending engagement letters and non-disclosure agreements to requesting necessary documentation. Collaborate with internal teams to schedule meetings and facilitate a seamless transition.

  • Quote & Invoice Management: Provide clients with pricing quotes and manage invoicing, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Negotiate terms and services to meet both client and firm expectations.

  • Client Retention: Follow up after client meetings to assess satisfaction and further discuss potential services. Support conversion efforts by identifying opportunities to meet clients’ evolving needs.

  • Internal Coordination: Coordinate schedules and meetings for senior team members and CPAs. Ensure efficient internal communication, keeping all teams aligned on client activities and deadlines.

  • Client Satisfaction: Serve as a trusted partner, continuously engaging with clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty. Monitor feedback and take action to resolve any concerns swiftly.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, client communications, or account management, ideally within the professional services or accounting/finance industry.
  • Some knowledge of US Tax and Accounting technicals. Accounting certification/experience preferred, not mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and handle negotiations confidently.
  • Highly organized with exceptional time management skills, capable of managing multiple clients and tasks simultaneously.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on client satisfaction and business growth.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
