The Position:
Reporting to the President & CEO, the Sales Executive will be responsible for driving revenue through continually prospecting for opportunities, quoting potential business and closing transactions. They will also coordinate closely with the team to ensure full customer satisfaction.
Functional Responsibilities:
· Develop corporate account relationships across Canada and the United States
· Work mainly remotely and travel occasionally (10-20%) to various client sites across North America
· Prepare and submit quotations that meet acceptable margin requirements
· Maintain a high activity level in contacting and building relationships with decision-makers in targeted industries
· Build and maintain a high level of trust with clients by dealing with their issues in a prompt and straightforward manner.
Education:
· Post-secondary degree (Marketing preferred)
Core Competencies:
· Minimum three years of previous promotional products sales experience.
· While we will train the right candidate on our client industries’ specific needs who have a proven successful sales background.
· A self-starter who can operate independently with minimal supervision
· High energy level and willingness to sustain a consistent sales call activity level
· Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal)
· Ability to manage multiple complex sales and customer support situations and deliver customer-friendly solutions
· Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task
· Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in response to challenges and opportunities
· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships
· Valid G Driver’s Licence
