DevOps Lead

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce DevOps Lead to join our team. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation of DevOps practices for
our product built on the Salesforce platform, ensuring quality, reliability, scalability, and
eciency of our Salesforce applications. This role will involve collaboration with
development, QA, Operations and PM teams to automate processes, streamline
deployment pipelines, and improve the overall development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and management of DevOps practices for our
Salesforce-based products.
Work closely with development teams to automate build, test, and deployment
processes for Salesforce applications.
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable delivery of
Salesforce features and updates.
Collaborate with operations teams to monitor and optimize the performance and
reliability of Salesforce applications.
Automate inter-instance operations like creating new instances, migrating data
from one instance to another, replicating custom layouts from one to another.
Build custom tools and applications to increase time to market and repeatability.
Lead efforts to standardize and improve development and deployment workows
for Salesforce projects.
Drive adoption of DevOps best practices and culture across the organization.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in Salesforce
development and DevOps.
Bring in expertise towards salesforce deployment tools.
Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related
eld.
Proven experience in Salesforce development and administration, with a focus on
DevOps.
Strong understanding of DevOps principles and best practices specically within
the Salesforce platform.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automation tools
such as Jenkins, Git, or Ansible.
Experience in Salesforce tools to support DevOps pipelines, both internal (SFDX,
SFCLI) and external (Flowsm, Copado, hutte, autorabit, etc.)
Familiarity with Salesforce metadata and deployment processes.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of Salesforce development tools and languages, such as Apex and
Lightning Component Framework, would be a nice addition.
