The Opportunity
As a Managed Services Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading, motivating and overseeing the day-to-day management of a team of Managed Service Support Consultants delivering to a multitude of SAP ECC & S4 HANA customers. This is a very customer focused, hands-on role where you will be expected to work on customer issues, developments, as well as undertake the day-to-day management aspects that the post requires.
This will be a home-based role, managing remote and offshore consultants within your dedicated team.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include
- Providing a high level of 2nd & 3rd line advisory and consultative support to the UK Customer install base
- Providing estimates and communicating deliverable status to stakeholders
- Analysing, configuring and implementing appropriate solutions with the support of the Functional and Development Consultants when applicable
- Testing and documenting new solutions prior to assigning back to the customer
- Communicating with customers and Service Delivery Managers, keeping all parties up-to-date with progress of deliverables
- Problem solving and using your own initiative to look for solutions/opportunities
- Understanding business processes to arrange your own tasks and workload
- Feeding back potential solutions in a logical way for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Displaying leadership skills to support & guide junior team members
About You
- 8
- years’ experience developing SAP technical solutions for back and front end solutions
- Able to demonstrate leadership in design of complex technical solutions
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience of Object Oriented programming and report writing using ALV and ABAP lists
- Experience of generating Outputs using SapScripts, Smartforms & AdobeForms
- Experience of developing workflow solutions
- Experience of interfacing core SAP directly with external systems, and via PI/PO
- Exposure to SAP C4C & CPI
- Experience of SAP Enhancement Framework / techniques to modify code SAP
- Experience of SAP Fiori, UI5, CDS Views, Custom apps, In app extensibility framework ,Java / React js
- Cross functional knowledge across SAP Functional Modules
- Proven experience in a combined customer service handling / functional support role
- Ability to perform peer reviews of proposed and delivered solutions
- Capable of managing own workload with minimal supervision to tight deadlines
- Able to prioritise and distribute team workload effectively
- ITIL knowledge or certification is essential
