Responsibilities:
Program Management
• Participate in all change and project management reviews for quality performance and assist in identifying processes and/or mitigating risks.
• Provide a single point of accountability for overall application management across multiple operations and tasks
• Monitor progress to key program milestones and resolve critical issues.
• Mitigate risks and escalate obstacles requiring JFC attention.
• Program management involves the management, leadership, and oversight of end-to-end application program delivery, supporting program execution and its constituent operations. Program management provides a comprehensive view of the interrelated activities under the AMS program. This service will properly leverage and define specific management, leadership and oversight roles for both Parties.
• Interface with all support groups related to the delivery of applications management services.
• Provide application management technical direction for work product delivery.
• Complete corrective action plans for service levels not achieved.
• Manage day-to-day JFC expectations by:
a. Planning and conducting regular meetings with support staff on all open issues
b. Planning and conducting regular meetings with JFC for update on open issues
c. On completion of meeting with the application support team and JFC, making sure open incidents have been updated with any changes noted, and submitting a new issues log to JFC
• Coordinate work product delivery regardless of whether staff are on-site, off-site and/or offshore.
a. Approve JFC’s and other Third-Party representatives’
b. Read/Write access as needed to development and quality assurance enterprise application environments as required
c. Participate in all change and AMS Run operations management reviews for quality performance and assist in identifying and/or mitigating risks.
• Maintain and supply key contact information regarding the DXC support staff
• Manage metrics collection, analysis, report distribution, and metric tool input by:
a. Monitoring, tracking, and reporting on service level
b. Determining new service levels if change to service level agreements is necessary DXC
• Adjust SOW and associated price based on mutually agreed-on service levels subject to the change control procedures.
• Participate in Steering Committee meetings, which set priorities for all Requests for change.
Mandatory Skills Description:
• Solid stakeholder and communication management.
• Good understanding and ability of Business Change Management.
• Fully aware of the roles of SAP Functional and Technical Consultants.
• Ability to manage customer disputes and challenge scope creep.
• Ability to work with the customer to redefine projects and deliverables to best meet the requirements and constraints of the IT and Business customers.
• Strong negotiation skills
• High level of tolerance
• 5-10-years proven track record as SAP Project Manager
• 5-10 years of experience working with SAP technical migrations, upgrades, roll-outs and/or functional enhancement projects
• 5 years of medium to large project leadership, preferably with 2 years managing S4 HANA projects.
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
- PMP Certified
- Scrum Master certified (e.g. PSM I)
