Client Success Manager – Kuala Lumpur

You’ve spent years immersed in advertising industry. You understand the role creative and media play in our everyday lives, and can see beyond the platforms (social, digital, ATL, BTL…). You know that application of creativity goes beyond i.e. social media postings, and you can see the big picture and potential of advertising as enabler.

You love working with clients (even the difficult ones) And understand the importance of establishing rapport and relationship with clients and partners. You understand that whining about clients is not going to get you anywhere, but you rather embrace the role of client success manager, and work to ensure the relationship with clients and organization are intact and constantly improving. Their happiness and respective results will be your KPI.

You are not afraid to get your hands dirty and understand that in a client success manager’s role, you (just like your client brands) are always on. You are able to produce media strategies, understand the significance of consumer moments and are able to produce a quality plans and tactics for different brand objectives. You are able to think of optimal creative strategies and execute them swiftly either independently or together with media partners.

You have demonstrated success in managing brands (plural) and we want to hear about these achievements. You are used to creating standout campaign work and/or strategies or have case studies published on the past achievements. You might have won awards in the past, but we don’t really care about the awards, but tangible success in application of advertising.

You understand the role you play as the key liaison with clients and need to be able to counsel them in not just everyday social media queries but also in tackling bigger challenges posed by the changing environment. You know when to step up and defend your team, but are not afraid to admit when the ball was dropped, and improvement was needed.

Most importantly, you are a PowerPoint or KeyNote (or maybe Slides) wizard. PPT decking for clients is an integral part of this role, so you need to be able to create impressive presentations and present them to clients when necessary.

Requirements:

• Presentation skills and excellent account/client management ability
• Decking, PPT, Keynote, you will do A LOT of decking, so you need to know how to build great presentations.
• Min. 4 years of experience in social media marketing, advertising, campaigns and planning.
• Demonstrated experience with references (a must). References from both client and agency side a plus.
• Portfolio or case studies on past successes.
• Practical, proven experience in decking.
• Experience with Facebook Business Manager & Ad Manager, YouTube Studio, Google Ads, Social listening tools is a plus (name the ones you have experience with).
• Strong analytical skills. You understand why reporting for the sake of reporting is bad.
• Experience with listening tools and other social media analytics
• Strategic skills. Able to produce a content, platform and/or comms strat.
• You are pedantic about timelines, QC and grammar.
