Who You Are
- You are an experienced accountant with a strong background in handling multiple clients, ideally from an accounting firm or agency.
- You can easily apply the right accounting principles across various industries, making you a versatile asset to our team.
- You are proficient in using QuickBooks Online (QBO). Ideally, you are also experienced in using Zoho Books.
- You are detail-oriented, reliable, and someone we can count on to maintain our long-term client relationships.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports that provide valuable insights for our clients.
- Offer strategic recommendations to enhance our bookkeeping processes.
- Collaborate with the accounting manager and account management team to ensure client needs are met effectively.
- Manage the monthly maintenance of the clients’ books which include, but are not limited to the following:
- Expense Categorization
- Bills and Bill Payments
- Invoicing and A/R Collections
- Payroll reconciliations
- Processing Payroll
- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts
- Manage the month-end close process for clients.
- Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss, and other statements.
- Work with the Account Manager/s on all open items and other Ad Hoc related tasks.
Requirements for the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within an agency setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks Online and Zoho Books.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly detail-oriented and dependable.
