We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior AWS Infrastructure Engineer to join our team, helping our client to scale and optimize their cloud infrastructure to support their ongoing growth. Here’s what we’re looking for: 

🚀 Responsibilities: 

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure to support SaaS applications.
• Manage and optimize cloud environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security, with an emphasis on multi-region AWS Organizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute infrastructure requirements.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues and implement performance tuning strategies.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly CDK (Cloud Development Kit) with Typescript.
• Implement robust security practices, including managing IAM roles, policies, and security groups.
• Ensure cost optimization and recommend strategies for efficient resource utilization.
• Conduct routine maintenance and updates for servers, databases, and network systems.
• Database management is a key focus; experience with RDS and understanding of complex database systems is essential, as many of our current issues are DB-related.
• Contribute to automation and deployment practices with CDK/Typescript to ensure smooth integration with our codebase.

💼 Requirements: 4+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, with a strong focus on AWS.

• Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and others, with experience supporting services like Kubernetes, Istio, and RabbitMQ.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar certifications.
• Strong experience in Database Management, specifically RDS, and the ability to solve complex database issues.
• Proficient with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CDK and Terraform. Familiarity with Typescript is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Signoz, Datadog, or Dynatrace.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• AWS Organizations and multi-region deployment experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, bringing proactive solutions to the table.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Python/React is a plus, to understand how infrastructure connects with our codebase.
