Senior Backend Software Developer (Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with at least 5 years of experience to

What Will You Do?

 Develop back-end services and models to manage code generation, cloud workflows,

monitors, and customer workloads.

 Build and maintain scalable, high-performance, and secure server-side applications.

 Architect and implement solutions using AWS services, including DynamoDB, Aurora, Lambda,

and others.

 Ensure high code quality and maintainability through best practices such as code reviews,

testing, and documentation.

 Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance issues and production incidents.

 Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.

 Stay up-to-date with industry trends and AWS updates, incorporating them into the

development process where applicable.

 Consider how best to accelerate your and the team’s work with AI assisted tools and

processes

 Work with other team members in a collaborative manner to deliver solutions.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical

experience.

 At least 5 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java or Python.

 Strong proficiency with the AWS stack, including but not limited to:

 – DynamoDB

 – Aurora (PostgreSQL/MySQL)

 – Lambda

 – S3

 – API Gateway

 – CDK

 – IAM (Identity and Access Management)

 – CloudWatch (Monitoring and Logging)

 Experience with designing and managing microservices architectures.

 Proficient in writing efficient, clean, and well-documented code.

 Experience with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.

 Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration systems like

Kubernetes.

 Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.

 Strong understanding of database design and data modeling.

Nice to Have:

 Knowledge of serverless architecture patterns.

 Experience with Event-Driven Architectures using AWS SNS/SQS or EventBridge.

 Familiarity with caching technologies like Redis or ElastiCache.

 Familiarity with AWS infrastructure services including CDK, Cloudfront, SAM, CodePipeline,

API Gateway, etc.

 AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions

Architect – Associate, or similar.

 Understanding of DevOps principles and culture

 Experience working with LLMs/Bedrock
