ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our expanding North American team in a newly created position focusing on growing Ada’s “Digital Front Door” solution (DFD). DFD is an AI-powered, patient engagement platform that integrates digital self-serve tools to facilitate end-to-end healthcare navigation and management.
Reporting to our Managing Director, North America you will leverage your successful sales experience in digital healthcare technology and be responsible for generating repeatable revenue across the US through sales and partner acquisition. You will own all sales activities with major healthcare prospects including payers, providers and public sector. This is a highly entrepreneurial position and will entail managing prospective clients from lead generation through to contract negotiation etc.
This is a remote position based in the USA.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Support with the growth of our US DFD business by creating and leading sales and partnership development, prospecting, fielding new inquiries, evaluating and qualifying new opportunities, delivering executive-level presentations, negotiating contractual terms, and maintaining client relationships
- Generate sales opportunities through targeted outreach through various channels (both digital and face-to-face)
- Work with the rest of our team to initially define, prioritize and continually expand your focus to encompass new targets, opportunities and markets
- Develop and execute go-to-market plan to achieve company and individual targets and revise the plan as needed
- Respond to RFIs, RFPs, and other activities involved in both public and private procurements
- Engage marketing colleagues to develop and maintain a strong library of supporting material used to nurture leads, from email templates, sales materials, graphics, case studies, technical guides and papers
- Work closely with a global team of medical technology leaders to continuously improve Ada’s product positioning and define our future road. At Ada, you have the opportunity to interact with a broad spectrum of experts in a variety of subjects, including medical knowledge, population health, AI, data connectivity & interoperability, patient engagement, and much more
- Opportunity to travel to conferences and events across the US and Europe
- Interact with key industry, client and prospect personnel at all levels, up to and including C-Level Executives from priority target organizations, and articulate Ada’s vision and value to their organization
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 3-8 years’ experience in a similar sales or business development role within the digital health/digital lifesciences space (this is essential)
- Background selling healthcare technologies to clinical, business and/or IT management within either health systems, healthcare providers, health insurers, self-insured employers, digital health and/or government agencies
- Strong analytical ability and financial acumen would be advantageous
- Negotiation skills would be ideal
- Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication and relationship building skills and passion for technology and sharing knowledge
- Self-starter, able to work in a dynamic, changing environment
- Ability to work as part of a small but strong and successful team to solve problems in a rapidly changing environment
