Responsibilities

Develop and maintain AWS DataLake platform using Terraform, ensuring high availability and scalability of the system
Configure CI/CD pipelines within AWS infrastructure, automating build, test, and deployment processes
Collaborate with EPAM and Alcon teams across different regions to ensure effective communication and efficient problem-solving
Identify and troubleshoot issues in cloud-based systems, providing timely solutions and minimizing downtime
Ensure the security and compliance of cloud-based systems, implementing best practices and industry standards
Continuously improve DevOps processes and practices, staying up-to-date with new technologies and trends
Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and learning

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including customers and stakeholders
Experience in AWS services, including CLI, IAM, S3, Glue, StepFunction, Athena, Redshift, Lambda, EC2, CodeDeploy, and CodeBuild
Expertise in Terraform, with the ability to design and implement infrastructure as code
Proficiency in Python programming, with experience in scripting and automation
Familiarity with Streamsets will be an advantage
Self-organized and result-oriented, with a personal Kanban or similar system to manage tasks and remove blockers
Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
