Senior Front End Engineer (Remote)

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Front End Engineer to be based in remotely as part of the growth of our awesome Tech team!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain front-end components and features using ReactJS, NodeJs, HTML, and CSS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and back-end engineers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement responsive designs and optimize web applications for mobile devices to ensure a seamless user experience across platforms.
- Build reusable and scalable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior team members, promoting code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring high performance and efficient rendering.
- Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic and APIs.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, debugging and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in front-end technologies, sharing knowledge and driving innovation within the team.
- Actively participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and
retrospective meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ experience in front-end development with a strong focus on ReactJS and NodeJS.
- Proven track record of developing and scaling complex web applications, preferably in the e-commerce domain.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related front-end technologies.
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile web development.
- Experience with performance optimization techniques and tools to ensure fast loading times and smooth rendering.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and modern development workflows (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
- Passion for learning and keeping up with the latest trends and advancements in front-end technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and technologies (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).
- Knowledge of server-side technologies and APIs, such as Node.js and RESTful services.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme) and test-driven development (TDD) principles.
