Job Description

As the Senior Full Stack Developer & Team Lead at Techzu Ichicode, you will oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept to final deployment. You will lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring high-quality code, timely delivery, and efficient processes. Your primary focus will be on building robust, scalable software using PHP (Laravel framework) for both frontend and backend development, API integration, and deployment. Knowledge of MERN stack and Azure deployment is a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development team and provide technical guidance throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Architect, design, and develop software solutions from scratch.
• Develop and maintain the frontend and backend of web applications with clean, maintainable code.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into applications.
• Manage the deployment process, ensuring scalable and reliable software in production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers.
• Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and implement best coding practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend their adoption where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Proven Leadership: 5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong track record of leading teams.
• PHP & Laravel Expertise: Extensive experience building web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Frontend Skills: Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design.
• Backend Development: Strong experience in developing server-side logic, databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and APIs.
• API Development: Experience designing, building, and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Deployment: Hands-on experience with deployment processes and tools (e.g., Docker, Nginx, CI/CD pipelines).
• Project Ownership: Experience building software solutions from scratch, including architecture and technical strategy.
• Version Control: Proficient with Git for version control and team collaboration.
• Team Management: Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills to guide and support development teams.

Bonus Skills

• Web App: Experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
• Mobile App: Experience with React Native.
• Deployment: Knowledge of Microsoft Azure / Cpanel / AWS for cloud deployment and management.
