Senior Go Lang Engineer (Remote)

We are seeking for a Senior Go Developer to join our remote team and play a key role in the development of our cloud-native solutions. As a Senior Go Developer, you will be responsible for understanding and analyzing client needs, designing and articulating solutions, and implementing them while contributing to the open-source community. If you have excellent Kubernetes knowledge, good Go language skills, and experience with cloud and container architecture, we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze client needs, designing and articulating solutions to meet their requirements
• Implement solutions using Go and Kubernetes, contributing to the open-source community and collaborating with Kubernetes SIG channels and teams
• Effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to clients and stakeholders
• Continuously improve the quality and reliability of our cloud-native solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Developers, DevOps, and QA, to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Be creative and think outside the box to solve complex problems and improve our solutions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud-native development and contribute to the development of best practices and standards

Requirements

• Strong Go language skills, with experience building and deploying Go applications for 3+ years
• Excellent knowledge of Kubernetes and its ecosystem, including experience with Kubernetes API objects and controllers
• Good knowledge of cloud and container architecture, with experience deploying and managing containerized applications in production environments
• Proficient in Linux systems engineering, with experience in shell scripting and automation
• Experience using Git for version control and collaboration
• Strong knowledge of REST API design and development
• Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with batch scheduling technologies such as Ray.io or Spark
• Experience with Python and ML engineering
